Information on the proposal, as well as other current agenda items, is available online at the BOR website. The proposal regarding tuition begins on page 204, and a summary begins on page 206. According to the tables provided, for WCSU students the 5% increase to tuition and fees represents an additional annual cost of $578 for in-state commuter students, and $1,270 for in-state residential students. Out of state students will see a smaller rate hike, of $62 for commuter and $754 for residential students. Part time students will see a $24 per-credit increase.

Written comments by students and members of the public will be accepted concerning any matter on the agenda, including the tuition increase, and should be forwarded to the BOR in advance of the meeting. Live comments must abide by a strict three minute limit. Any materials submitted will become part of the public record according to state law. Written comments and requests to provide live comments must be forwarded to the Assistant Secretary to the Board at pheleen@commnet.edu at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting, or Wednesday at 10:00 am. A confirmation email with instructions to access the meeting will be forwarded to students who plan to provide live comments the day before the meeting.
